Every tin is handcrafted in small batches at Ison Homestead in Wisconsin, where we believe that simple ingredients, patience, and traditional methods still have a place in everyday life.

Our dandelion salve begins each spring with carefully gathered dandelion petals that are slowly infused for four weeks into organic cold pressed olive oil. This slow infusion process creates a rich, golden herbal oil that is then blended with beeswax and a touch of vitamin E to create a simple, nourishing salve for hardworking skin — and for your four-legged family members too! It’s a gentle option for helping soften dry, rough noses and paws. 🐾

What's Inside & Why It Works

Dandelion Infused Olive Oil — Dandelions have been valued in traditional herbal practices for generations. By slowly infusing the petals into organic cold pressed olive oil, we create a deeply moisturizing botanical oil that helps soften and nourish dry, rough skin. Olive oil is naturally rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, helping support the skin barrier while leaving skin feeling smooth and cared for.

Beeswax — A natural gift from the hive, beeswax helps create a protective barrier on the skin, locking in moisture while still allowing your skin to breathe. It gives this salve its smooth texture and makes it perfect for areas that need longer lasting moisture.

How to Use

Apply a small amount wherever your skin needs a little extra love. Great for hands, feet, cuticles, elbows, dry patches, and even your furry friends’ paws.

A little goes a long way! This salve will soften quickly with the warmth of your skin. Will appear oily for a few minutes as it absorbs into your skin. 

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Best used within 6–12 months.

Because this product is handmade with natural ingredients, slight variations in color and texture are normal and part of what makes each batch unique.
